Quality Technician
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Quality Technician to join a leading manufacturing organisation. This role is responsible for supporting product quality, process development and continuous improvement activities through assembly, inspection, testing, data analysis and documentation. Working closely with Engineers and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, inspect and test precision electronic and micro-components in line with manufacturing standards. Carry out incoming material inspections and commission testing of electronic and mechanical components. Perform functional testing on products and sub-assemblies to verify quality and performance. Diagnose and troubleshoot faults with products, equipment and manufacturing processes. Support Engineers with the development, build and testing of prototypes, new products and manufacturing processes. Analyse manufacturing and inspection data to determine pass, fail or rework decisions as part of non-conformance investigations. Calibrate and adjust measuring equipment including callipers, micrometres and gauges to ensure production quality. Inspect prototype parts and assemblies to company, supplier and customer specifications. Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, including standard work instructions, quality reports, productivity reports and batch records.
