Quality Team Leader

Are you a Senior or Lead Quality Engineer who has led a team of quality professionals but still enjoys being hands on? Our client manufacturer precision engineering parts for the aerospace and power generation sector and due to growth, are looking for a Quality Team Leader on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have worked within a highly regulated industry, ideally aerospace or power generation with strong experience and knowledge of product quality.

Quality Team LeaderJob Description

Responsible for for leading a team of 5, providing clear direction, mentoring and day-to-day support.Participate in all key quality processes including Material Review Boards, scrap analysis, right-first-time initiatives, rework assessments, non-conformance reports, concessions, First Article Inspections and problem-solving.Point of contact for customer quality matters, ensuring that expectations are met and manage customer concerns.Drive root cause analysis, lead the implementation of corrective actions, and support audits and approvals.Ensure all quality documentation, systems and processes comply with internal standards and customer requirements. Maintain and improve control plans, inspection procedures, and quality records.Quality Team LeaderEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Proven experience working in a Senior Quality Engineer or Team Leader/Supervisor positionPreviously worked within the aerospace or power generation industryStrong experience and knowledge of product quality (NCR’s, problem-solving, root-cause analysis etc)Confident dealing with customersQuality Team LeaderCompany Benefits
