Quality Team Leader - Furniture Industry

Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a Quality Team Leader Working for a well-established furniture manufacturer, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in a similar industry. Our client has 2 sites, based close together (15-minute drive apart), one based in Morley and one in the Dewsbury area. The ideal candidate will be able to drive and cover both sites. Role Overview The Quality Team Leader will take responsibility for leading quality standards across both sites, ensuring issues are identified, reported, investigated, and resolved in a consistent and effective manner. The role will focus on maintaining product quality, managing customer complaints, supporting supplier quality concerns, and driving a standardised approach to quality reporting and problem solving across the business. Key Responsibilities Quality Management Lead and maintain quality standards across both manufacturing sites. Ensure both sites are reporting quality issues in the same manner and working to the same standards. Support production teams in achieving required product quality standards and customer specifications. Monitor quality performance and promote a culture of right first time and continuous improvement. Customer Complaints and Root Cause Investigation Manage the customer complaints log and ensure it is kept accurate and up to date. Investigate customer complaints thoroughly and identify root cause.
