Quality Systems Lead
Are you a proactive Quality professional who thrives on driving change, engaging people and raising standards? We''re looking for a hands-on Quality Systems Lead who will champion quality across the business, inspire colleagues, and lead continuous improvement within a successful manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you''ll take ownership of the site''s Quality Management System, ensuring it not only remains compliant but continues to evolve. This is a role for someone who enjoys being visible on the shop floor, working collaboratively with teams and embedding a culture of quality throughout the business.
What you will be doing
- Lead, maintain and continuously improve the site''s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, GMP and customer requirements.
- Drive quality systems improvements that deliver higher standards, greater efficiency and best practice across the business.
- Lead internal and external audit programmes with confidence, ensuring ongoing compliance and audit readiness.
- Act as Product/Food Safety Team Leader, facilitating risk assessments, validation activities and change control processes.
- Work closely with operational teams to engage, coach and encourage a culture where quality is everyone''s responsibility.
- Investigate supplier and customer quality issues, using effective root cause analysis to implement robust corrective and preventive actions.
- Support third-party quality assurance activities, customer audits and technical agreements.
- Develop and monitor quality KPIs, using data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Champion a proactive approach to quality, influencing stakeholders at all levels and leading by example.
The successful Quality Systems Lead
We''re looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with the ability to motivate and influence others. You''ll be a natural relationship builder who enjoys working with people and driving positive change.
You''ll ideally have:
- Experience in a Quality Systems role within a manufacturing environment.
- Internal Auditor qualification with strong working knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Experience of Quality Management Systems, GMP and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- A hands-on, collaborative approach with the confidence to challenge, influence and lead quality improvements across the business.
- A passion for developing robust quality systems and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
On offer
- A salary to -60,000
- Employer pension contribution (up to 9%)
- 30 days holiday plus bank holidays and Warrington Walking Day
- Working hours - 8.30-5 Monday - Friday with 1hr lunch (though a flexible approach to working is needed) 37.5hr week.
