Quality Systems Engineer

Quality Systems Engineer £35,000 Our Client are a leading British Manufacturer within the Materials Handling sector. Currently recruiting for a Quality Systems Engineer. Hours of work: 7.00am to 4:00pm (30 Minutes lunch) Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 1.00pm on Fridays. Primary Location: Stourport The Role: • Maintain, develop and continually improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. • Ensure documented information (procedures, work instructions, forms, records) is controlled, current and aligned to the relevant ISO standards. • Plan, schedule and lead the internal audit programme; manage non-conformities, corrective actions and root cause analysis to closure. • Act as the primary point of contact for external certification bodies; coordinate and host surveillance and recertification audits. • Prepare and present Management Review inputs and outputs in line with ISO requirements. Legal and Regulatory Compliance • Maintain a legal register of applicable UK Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety • legislation (e.g. Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, Environmental Protection Act • 1990, COSHH, RIDDOR, Waste Regulations, product-specific regulations). • Monitor changes in legislation and ensure that policies, procedures and operational • practices remain compliant.
