Quality Systems Engineer

An established Tier 1 automotive supplier based in the West Midlands is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Systems Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across its manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with a strong background in automotive manufacturing, QMS management and continuous improvement to make a real impact in a global automotive supplier. As Quality Systems Engineer, you will take ownership of auditing, maintaining and continually improving the site s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 standards. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Launch teams, you will help drive quality improvements, ensure effective corrective actions and support the successful delivery of new and existing products. Key responsibilities will include: Quality Management Systems: Audit, maintain and optimise the site QMS to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 requirements. Non Conformance Management: Ensure corrective action plans are implemented, monitored and followed through to effective resolution. Engineering Change Management: Coordinate and manage the engineering change process, leading weekly meetings to ensure changes are controlled and communicated effectively.
