Quality Operative

QC Operative Department: Quality Reports to: QC Team Leader Role Overview An opportunity has arisen for a QC Operative to join a busy Quality department. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products and materials meet required quality standards while complying with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and company procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and the ability to work efficiently in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect and review incoming deliveries to ensure consignments are received in acceptable condition, free from damage or tampering, and supplied by approved suppliers. Verify that shipments have been transported under appropriate environmental conditions by approved transport providers. Process temperature-sensitive or controlled stock promptly and transfer to the correct storage location. Upload and maintain all relevant delivery documentation on internal systems. Perform identity checks on raw materials and report discrepancies against specifications. Accurately record all quality control checks and documentation. Carry out authenticity checks on specific sourced consignments where required. Conduct sample inspections of pre-printed packaging materials. Perform in-process quality checks during production.
