Quality Officer

Quality Officer South Wales 35,000 - 39,000 SRG are looking for a Quality Officer to join a leading provider of nutraceutical products based in South Wales. Established for over 30 years, the company develop and manufacturer an innovative range of products that are sold globally, and support ongoing research and development of products that can improve health, support other treatments and alleviate side effects. The Role:As the Quality Officer, you will be leading a small team of Quality Technicians and working closely with the Quality Manager to ensure strict quality standards are maintained. Key responsibilities will include: Overseeing the Inspection, testing and approval of products to ensure safety, quality and timely release.Leading investigations into OOS, complaints and non-conformance.Monitor and analyse and report quality KPIs.Oversee Environmental monitoring and water testing programmes.Support internal audits and drive continuous improvement activities. Required: Degree or similar qualification in a relevant scientific subject.Proven experience in a similar quality focused position within Pharmaceutical or Food manufacturing environments.Knowledge of MHRA / GMP / or BRC complianceConfident in leading a small team.Experience in supporting or leading internal audits.
