WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORQuality Measurement Specialist Telford Onsite Shift Work Perm, Full Time Advert Closing Date 01/08/2026About RWMOne of Europe''s most modern production facilities is currently being setup in Telford - the "UK Gun Hall" project.Rheinmetall Weapon Munitions UK Limited (RWM UK) - a wholly owned subsidiary of the Rheinmetall Group and part of the Weapon and Ammunition Division - is Rheinmetall''s centre of excellence for the production and maintenance of large calibre weapon systems in the United Kingdom.Position OverviewQuality Measurement Specialist will work in a small team, with tasks for measuring barrels, breech blocks and breech rings. The production steps are coordinated with CNC-operators based on the measuring results. The reports are entered into SAP and other data management systems.Intensive training will take place on the job in our Telford facility.Position Responsibilities:Operating Zeiss and Hexagon CMM machines or similar, including set-up, alignment, fixture loading, programme selection and measurement execution in line with inspection plansInspection of mechanically processed components during and after production using hand-held measuring instruments, testing, electronic measuring devices or 3D measuring machines, e.g. Zeiss Prismo or similarTesting components in accordance with test instructions, including the preparation of corresponding test reportsReviewing and communicating measurement results to CNC operators and production ..... full job details .....
