Job Title: Quality Manager Location: Teesside, UK Salary: £50,000 £60,000 DOE Benefits: 24 days holiday (increasing after 5 years service), company pension, cycle-to-work scheme, and life assurance at 3x salary Working Hours: Full-time, Monday Friday Job Description: As a Quality Manager, you ll play a key role in developing, maintaining, and improving the company s Quality Management System (QMS) while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations. You ll lead the Quality team, oversee internal and external audits, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. Key responsibilities of the Quality Manager include: Managing and maintaining an effective QMS in line with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and FDA QSMR requirements. Leading quality investigations, including customer complaints, non-conformances (NCRs), CAPAs, and supplier corrective actions (SCARs). Coordinating internal audits and managing external (customer and regulatory) audits. Overseeing supplier quality performance, including audits, qualification, and scorecards. Supporting risk management and validation activities across departments. Monitoring and reporting on key quality metrics and implementing improvement initiatives. Managing and developing the QA/QC team to ensure high performance and engagement. Providing quality support for new product introduction (NPI) projects.
