We have a fantastic opportunity for a
Quality Manager
to join our Nuclear and Infrastructure Division, based on-site at Teesworks.
This is a 12-month, fixed-term contract.Responsibilities
In the Quality Manager position you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services on site, in compliance with industry regulations, client specifications and Severfield''s Quality Management System.You will ensure statutory requirements and client expectations are met, and your work will directly impact the quality, compliance and continuous improvement of the project.Investigating non-conformances and lead corrective actionsIdentify and implement opportunities for continuous improvementCompile quality documentation in accordance with codes and customer specificationsLiaise with customer representatives as neededConduct external audits of subcontractor work against QA/QC requirementsWrite and implement project-specific inspection and test planPerform site-based ''C'' works inspections and checksEnsure quality records are maintained and traceableSupport sourcing and material compliance processes as per client and statutory requirementsKey Skills and Experience
Technical or Quality qualification (HNC Level)Welding inspector qualification or experienceISO 9001 lead or internal audit qualificationExperience in a quality role, welding or welding inspector experience would be beneficialTechnical or engineering related backgroundSeniority level
