Quality Manager - Food Manufacturing 35,000 - 45,000North ManchesterMonday to Friday, 8am - 5pm Are you an experienced Quality Manager in the Food Manufacturing sector looking to improve your work-life balance at a small, friendly and relaxed site, or are you an experienced QA professional that is looking for an opportunity to progress into management? This Food Manufacturing site employs about 20 people and has been supplying a range of sweet bakery goods to foodservice clients across the country for over 30 years. They''ve recently received backing from a larger UK food manufacturing group, and they''re now looking for a Quality Manager to work closely with the site''s existing leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the site''s Food Safety, Quality and Compliance standards, working closely with production to ensure customer specifications, GMP and SOP requirements are met, leading audit readiness and regulatory compliance activities, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the business. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years'' experience in Food Safety and Quality Assurance - either in a Quality Management position or as a Supervisor/Coordinator where they''ve held some degree of leadership responsibility.
