Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Quality Manager to work in their leading facility in TelfordFor the successful Quality Manager our client is offering; Salary of up to £47,000 per annum DOEMonday Thursday: 08.00am 16.35pm, Friday: 08.00am 13.00pmPermanent roleCanteen facilities on sitePension and Sovereign Health Care Free parkingFriendly team The Role of the Quality Manager; Review and revise the company s quality procedures, standards and specificationsReview customer requirements and make sure that they are metWork with purchasing to establish quality requirements from external suppliersSet standards for QualityMake sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standardsLook at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiencyDefine quality procedures in conjunction with the operating staffSet up and maintain controls and documentation proceduresMonitor performance by gathering data and produce reports Review existing policies and make suggestions for changes and improvements, and how to implement themMeasure performance and identify any areas of weakness, recommending and implementing improvementsLiaise with other managers and staff and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standardsAssess the effectiveness of changes madeLead initiatives in Continuous Improvement and Lean ManufacturingEnsure compliance with emerging standards ..... full job details .....
