We are recruiting a Quality Manager for a successful and growing engineering firm based in Wednesbury specialising in supplying high-quality parts to a wide range of industries. Ensure all staff follow quality procedures and standards.Maintain our ISO 9000:2015 system and prepare for audits.Lead staff training on quality processes and track progress.Manage customer concerns with timely 8D responses and corrective actions.Prepare and maintain PPAPs (including FMEA, Gauge RandR).Produce monthly quality reports covering complaints, downtime, and cost of quality.Escalate customer complaints promptly to directors.Support inspection and approval of processed parts.Qualifications
Previous experience in a quality management role within engineering or manufacturing.Strong knowledge of ISO 9000:2015 standards and audit preparation.Hands-on experience with PPAP, FMEA, and Gauge RandR.Confident with 8D problem-solving and root cause analysis.Excellent communication and leadership skills to develop and train staff.Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive in preventing issues.Salary and Benefits
