Exciting Opportunity for a Management Accountant in Sedgefield!

Are you ready to take on a challenging and dynamic role as a Management Accountant at our site in Sedgefield, County Durham? Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, this position offers autonomy and the opportunity to showcase your adaptability and flexibility in managing various responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:- Producing month-end management financial statements (PandL and BS)- Driving month-end stock counts from planning to execution- Reconciling monthly stock movements and conducting stock valuations- Handling month-end balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis- Managing fixed assets register, credit card expenses, and payroll journals- Performing VAT reporting and supporting finance functions with ad-hoc projects- Maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and strong attention to detail

Requirements:- Fully qualified AAT or CIMA Part Qualified with relevant work experience- Proficiency in Excel and computer skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines- Proactive mindset, team player, and strong interpersonal ..... full job details .....
