Quality ManagerSouthend-on-Sea - Up to £65K DOE 4-Day Working Week As the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in driving quality performance across the business whilst supporting production, customers and regulatory requirements. This is a highly varied position where no two days are the same.Responsibilities for this Quality Manager role includes:Managing and maintaining the AS9100 Quality Management System. Creating, reviewing and approving FAIRs and LAIRs. Supporting and administering VisualFAIR documentation.Planning and conducting internal audits. Supporting customer and external audits.Managing calibration, testing and qualification activities.Leading and supporting a small team of skilled inspectors. Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications. Driving continuous improvement initiatives. Participating in management review meetings and supporting wider business objectives. To be successful in this Quality Manager role, you will need:Previous manufacturing experience. Strong knowledge of AS9100 and quality requirements. Experience completing and approving FAIRs. Internal audit experience. The ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Previous leadership, supervisory or team management experience. Excellent communication and organisational skills.The ability to manage changing priorities within a busy manufacturing environment.
