Quality Manager

A large food manufacturer are seeking an experienced Quality Manager. Working in a state-of-the-art facility, you''ll be at the heart of ensuring product safety and quality while contributing to the success of a leading food business.Shift Pattern- 4 on 4 off- 05:30 - 18:00. What You Will Do:- Lead and manage the QA team to ensure product quality, safety, and legality, meeting customer specifications in a fast-paced environment.- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of Quality Auditors to ensure continuous development.- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, HR, and hygiene teams to maintain seamless operations.- Ensure procedures within the Quality Management System, HACCP, and Food Defence are adhered to across the factory.- Investigate technical customer complaints, coordinate findings, and implement effective action plans.- Manage external service providers such as pest control and laboratories while ensuring compliance with industry standards.What You Will Bring:- Relevant scientific or food-related qualifications, with extensive experience working within a Quality or Technical team. - A practical understanding of BRC standards and retailer requirements.- Experience working with major retailers, including leading audits.- HACCP and Food Safety qualifications, alongside internal auditing training.- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
