Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a leading global manufacturing organisation in the search for a Plant Quality Lead to join their Birmingham-based operation.This is a pivotal leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape quality strategy, drive continuous improvement, and lead a team of Quality Engineers within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring customer expectations, operational excellence, and quality standards are consistently achieved.As Plant Quality Lead, you will be a key member of the Plant Senior Management Team, responsible for leading all plant-based quality assurance activities and championing a culture of quality throughout the business.You will oversee a team of six direct reports, driving quality performance, customer satisfaction, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the plant Quality Engineering team, providing coaching, development, and performance management.Partner with operational and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and embedded within manufacturing processes.Drive continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).Lead the implementation and ongoing management of APQP and PPAP methodologies, including revalidation activities.Review and approve 8D investigations, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actions ..... full job details .....
