Quality Manager - Major Energy Project

Location: North London
Duration: 12 months initially, with potential for extension
Contract: Freelance / Contractor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager to join a major energy infrastructure project in North London.

This is a long-term opportunity working on a significant energy-from-waste / thermal power project, with an initial duration of approximately 12 months and the potential for further extension.

The role offers a highly attractive contractor package, including accommodation and travel support, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality professional looking for a long-term project assignment.

As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing quality activities across the project, working closely with construction, engineering and project teams to ensure works are delivered in accordance with the required standards, specifications and quality procedures.

You will be working within a major industrial construction environment and will need to be confident managing quality requirements across complex mechanical and process systems.

Previous boiler experience is essential.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked on boilers within:

• Energy-from-Waste (EfW)

• Coal-fired power stations

• CCGT / Combined Cycle Gas Turbine projects

Candidates should have a strong background in Quality Management / QA/QC within the power generation, energy or major industrial sectors.

Experience working on large-scale construction or engineering projects, with responsibility for quality compliance, inspections, documentation and contractor management, is highly desirable.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager, QA/QC Manager or Senior Quality professional with a proven track record on major power generation or energy projects.

Direct boiler experience within EfW, coal-fired or CCGT environments is essential.
