Quality Manager - West Midlands - Chemical Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager (or a strong Quality professional ready to step up) to lead a well-established Quality team within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role will suit someone with the confidence, leadership style and resilience to drive quality standards in a fast-paced, production-driven business.

The role:

• Lead and develop a small, capable Quality team

• Strengthen internal and external auditing processes

• Manage customer complaints and provide professional, solutions-focused responses

• Ensure compliance across quality systems while maintaining a pragmatic, commercial approach

• Act as a key point of contact for customers and stakeholders on quality issues

What we''re looking for:

• Proven leadership or management experience in Quality (open to QC backgrounds across industries)

• Strong auditing experience (internal/external)

• Complaint handling and customer-facing experience

• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a solutions-first approach

• Ability to balance quality with production demands in a practical way
