Quality Manager

Quality Manager – Aerospace AS9100D Expertise Required

Are you an experienced quality leader with a strong aerospace background and hands-on knowledge of AS9100D, ISO9001, and ISO14001? Do you thrive in high-integrity, precision manufacturing environments, working with machining and special processes?

We’re looking for a Quality Manager to take ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and lead a team in driving compliance, continuous improvement, and excellence across products delivered to global customers.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the quality function, ensuring AS9100D compliance and customer-specific aerospace requirements.

• Manage internal and external audits, including AS9100D Stage 1 & 2 certification.

• Approve First Article Inspections (FAI/AS9102) and oversee MRB and non-conformance processes.

• Drive special process validation (e.g., shot peening, MPI, EDM) and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Liaise with customers and suppliers to maintain robust quality performance.

• Embed quality into NPI, production readiness, and engineering design reviews.

What you need to succeed:

• Proven aerospace quality leadership experience.

• Deep knowledge of AS9100D, ISO9001:2015, and ISO14001:2015.

• Hands-on experience with machining, FAI, PPAP, and special processes.

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills (8D, RCA, CAPA).

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.

• Experience managing audits and leading teams to maintain audit-ready systems.
