Talented People are recruiting on behalf of a client within the construction industry who are looking for an experienced Quality Manager within the sector to join on a permanent basis based in Havant!

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with strong experience in civil engineering and construction projects to take ownership of quality assurance across design, procurement and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team management
  • Reviewing, updating and maintaining the project quality plans
  • Working with other departments to improve the quality of projects
  • Monitoring inspection and test results
  • Producing monthly quality reports for the client
  • Reviewing designs from concept through to detailed design to ensure they meet constructability and quality requirements
  • Managing defects, non-conformances and corrective actions proactively
  • Conducting internal and second-party audits in line with ISO 19011
  • Ensuring compliance at all times within project parameters

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) within the construction industry
  • Strong record-keeping and data management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience producing and managing Inspection and Test Plans
