Quality Manager

Our client, a leading engineering Manufacturing company based near York are looking to recruit a Quality Manager to join their existing team on a permanent basis. Leading the quality team, you will be responsible for leading all quality assurance and quality control activities across the manufacture, assembly, testing, and delivery products and systems. Ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and the Quality Management System whilst driving continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. Interested candidates will ideally be degree Qualified in a engineering/ quality discipline with a demonstrable background within Quality Engineering with a broad understanding of manufacturing processes including Fabrication, Machining and Assembly This position is based on days and available for an immediate start. Hours - Mon - Thurs (Apply online only) / Fri (Apply online only) Role Description Ensure quality requirements are embedded throughout the product lifecycle, from contract review through manufacture, testing, delivery, and aftermarket support. Lead customer quality interactions, including audits, witness testing, concession requests, and quality performance reviews. Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives and support critical supplier audits. Ensure robust traceability of materials, components, and manufacturing records for subsea products.
