Quality Engineer - Injection Moulding and Paint Spraying Location: Basildon, Essex Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch) Start Date: Immediate About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Quality and Process Engineer/ Manager to join a growing manufacturing operation in Basildon. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing quality standards across both the Injection Moulding and Paint Spraying departments. This role requires someone with strong injection moulding knowledge and experience OR with an understanding of paint spraying processes. The ability to support both departments is essential, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the entire manufacturing process. This position would suit someone with experience between junior and senior level who is looking to take ownership of quality processes and play a key role in a growing business. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain quality standards across Injection Moulding and Paint Spraying operations. Carry out product inspections and specification checks. Identify, assess and investigate product defects. Ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality requirements. Monitor quality throughout the manufacturing process, from moulding through to painting and final inspection. Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions where required.
