This role is with a leading global manufacturer with an established operation in Barnstaple, offering the opportunity to lead quality initiatives in a forward-thinking business that serves highly regulated sectors.Responsibilities
Leading and mentoring a dedicated Quality team to achieve best-in-class performanceOwning and managing the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standardsDesigning and executing internal audits, ensuring compliance and continuous readinessActing as the primary interface with customers on quality concerns, driving robust resolution processesChampioning a Zero Defects Culture, embedding quality awareness across all functionsCollecting and analysing quality data, identifying trends, and recommending improvementsSupporting wider Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the siteWhat We’re Looking For
In-depth understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 audits (Certification ideal but not essential)Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline (or similar)Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage at all business levelsAdvanced analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionProactive, problem-solving approach with a passion for improvementSix Sigma Green Belt certification would be idealA Quality Manager looking to continue their career progressionWhy apply
