Quality Manager

Job Summary The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quality assurance and control processes within a fabrication manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all fabricated products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager will lead a team of quality professionals, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to uphold the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Quality System Management: Develop, implement, and maintain the company s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, ASME, or other relevant standards. Quality Assurance: Oversee inspection and testing processes to ensure products meet design specifications, tolerances, and material requirements for fabricated components (e.g., welding, machining, assembly). Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to reduce defects, enhance product quality, and increase operational efficiency using tools like Lean, Six Sigma, or Root Cause Analysis. Non-Conformance Management: Lead investigations into non-conforming products, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Customer Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining strong customer relationships.
