Are you ready to take the lead in quality assurance? Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager who is passionate about maintaining excellence in manufacturing processes. This is your chance to shine in a pivotal role that directly influences quality and compliance!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and maintenance of Quality Management Systems, ensuring adherence to ISO 9100/AS9100 standards.
- Lead the Inspection team, serving as the company''s management representative in all quality matters.
- Ensure all calibration, testing, and qualification activities meet business standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct inspection and verification of parts at various stages of production.
- Maintain calibrated equipment in readiness for manufacturing.
- Train staff in VisualFAIR software as per Customer/Design Authority Approval Requirements.
- Create and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and Layout Inspection Reports (LAIR) to specification.
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits to ISO9100 and AS9100 standards.
- Drive continuous improvement within your team, identifying performance concerns and development opportunities.
- Communicate daily workload effectively, ensuring discipline and teamwork.
- Participate in management review meetings, collaborating with the Production Team.
Core Skills/Attributes Needed:
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Expertise in First Article Inspection (FAIR/LAIR).
- Qualified to conduct internal/external audits.
- Strong initiative, time management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
