As part of ongoing growth, our client is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to take a lead role in maintaining and enhancing quality and food safety standards across a busy production site in Central Scotland. The Role This is a key position within the site management team. The successful candidate will ensure that products consistently meet customer expectations while complying with all relevant legislation and certifications. You ll lead and develop the quality function, manage the Quality Management System, and champion a proactive culture of continuous improvement across all departments. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams. Maintain and improve the site s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with food safety and regulatory requirements (HACCP, BRC, retailer codes of practice, etc.). Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and investigations, driving corrective and preventive actions.
