Quality Manager Aerospace Manufacturing Location: Rochford, Essex Salary: (Dependent on Experience) Hours: Monday Thursday 6:45am 4:30pm (37-hour week) Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a strong aerospace background and proven leadership skills? We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in the Rochford area. This is a hands-on leadership role where you''ll be responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System, leading a skilled inspection team, and ensuring compliance with the highest aerospace quality standards. The Role Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee all quality activities across the business, managing a team of two experienced inspectors while balancing priorities including FAIR completion, subcontractor quality activities, audits and day-to-day manufacturing support. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the Quality Management System in line with AS9100/ISO 9100 requirements. Lead, motivate and develop the Quality Inspection team. Create, review and approve FAIRs and LAIRs using VisualFAIR software. Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits. Act as the company''s quality representative for customers and certification bodies. Oversee calibration, testing and inspection activities throughout manufacturing.
