Quality Lead

We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead to ensure the successful delivery of critical project work, with responsibility for quality assurance across fabrication, supplier management, and on-site installation. This role is key to upholding compliance, driving high standards, and ensuring all activities meet nuclear and defence industry requirements.Who This Job Would Suit This role would suit someone with a strong background in QA/QC within construction, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries, ideally with experience in the nuclear or defence sector. The ideal candidate will be confident engaging with multiple stakeholders, proactive in resolving issues, and committed to ensuring safety, compliance, and quality at every stage of delivery.Key Responsibilities Oversee quality assurance of small to medium steel fabrications including walkways, platforms, aperture plates, frames, and impact barriers. Monitor suppliers and site activities to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and schedules. Act as the primary quality interface between fabricators, on-site teams, and internal project management. Prepare, collate, and maintain quality documentation in line with Nuclear/Defence industry standards. Support quality inspections during installation and commissioning, on site.Requirements Proven experience as a Quality Lead or QA/QC specialist in Nuclear, Defence, Construction, or relevant Manufacturing.
