Quality Inspector (Metal Components and Precision Engineering)Location: London SE1Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 + BenefitsJob Type: PermanentThe RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a growing advanced manufacturing business. This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong background inspecting metallic components, including machined, fabricated, welded, cast, or precision-engineered parts.Working within a high-specification manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for ensuring that metal components and assemblies meet customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements through rigorous inspection, measurement, and quality control processes.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct first-off, in-process and final inspection of metallic components and assemblies.Inspect machined, fabricated, welded and finished metal products against engineering drawings and specifications.Verify dimensional accuracy, tolerances, surface finishes, and material conformity.Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections using precision metrology equipment.Review material certificates, inspection records and traceability documentation.Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.Maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection records.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer-specific quality ..... full job details .....
