Quality Inspector Location: West ManchesterSalary: £20.32 per hour (£792.48 per week)Hours: Full Time, PermanentReporting To: Quality ManagerAbout the Opportunity Winsearch is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer serving the offshore oil and gas sector. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their quality team.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a precision engineering environment. Working closely with Quality Engineering and Production teams, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet exacting quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.Key Responsibilities Perform goods-inward, pre-paint, in-process and final inspections.Inspect components against engineering drawings and specifications.Use a range of precision measuring equipment, including: External micrometersInternal and 3-point bore micrometersDepth micrometersVerniersGauges and associated inspection equipment Complete dimensional inspection reports and related quality documentation.Carry out visual inspections to identify defects, damage, burrs, weld spatter, paint quality issues and marking discrepancies.Approve and sign off inspection documentation.Stamp and identify completed parts in accordance with quality procedures.Undertake minor rework activities where required, including paint touch-ups and thread tapping.Support packing and assembly activities as needed.Work ..... full job details .....
