Quality Inspector

My very busy well-established manufacturing clients are now recruiting a Quality Inspector. They are an excellent well run family business. 8am-4.30pm Monday-Thursday. 8am -1pm Friday 37 hours per week Hourly rate £13.80-£14.55 Missions: To support the effective operation of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System by performing routine inspections and checks, ensuring that materials and manufactured products meet defined requirements before release to the next process or customer, and preventing the unintended release of nonconforming materials or products. Objectives: Support compliance with ISO 9001 requirements related to product conformity Identify non-conforming materials or products Ensure inspection results are accurately recorded and traceable Take Usage Decisions to Release, Quarantine or Reject materials or products Master and perform Test and Calibration methods as required to support taking usage decisions Perform investigations and record findings of non-conforming products To carry out quality audits in line with the approved audit plan and schedule Keys Tasks: Perform inspection of incoming materials and documentation where required Perform first article inspection of daily production lots, recording findings Conduct inspections and record findings of ongoing production as required by the nature of the process.
