Quality InspectorStart Date: ASAPSalary: £28,000 - £32,500 depending on experienceLocation: Waterbeach, CambridgeshireHours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday (1pm finish Fridays) onsiteWe are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector for ourclient to ensure that products are inspected in accordance withthe correct requirements, specifications, and materials as agreedupon with the customer. The successful candidate will play acrucial role in supporting various departments within thebusiness and ensuring that products supplied are manufactured inconformance with relevant design data and specifications.Key Responsibilities: Approve products to drawings and customers supportingdocumentation. Provide assistance and support within the business regardingproduct conformance. Operate singularly or as part of a team that optimizesinspection resources effectively. Record non-confirming products in a descriptive manner toassist Quality Assurance Engineers. Conduct internal audits within departments.Knowledge: Ability to use measuring equipment such as rulers, calipers,gauges, or micrometers to inspect, test, and measure products(Essential). Strong proficiency in reading technical engineering drawings(Essential). Previous history and knowledge of FAI processes would bebeneficial. Experience working with customer drawings and supportingdocumentation for correct product manufacture and assembly. Experience conducting internal departmental audits.
