Quality Inspector

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a precision engineering business in Aldershot.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Inspector with a strong background in precision engineering and hands-on inspection experience.

The Role

You will be responsible for inspecting precision-engineered components to ensure they meet required quality standards and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections
• Using CMM equipment, ideally Aberlink
• Measuring components using micrometers, verniers and gauges
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Recording inspection results and maintaining quality documentation
• Identifying non-conforming parts and supporting corrective actions
• Working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain high quality standards

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within precision engineering
• Good knowledge of CMM inspection
• Experience using Aberlink would be highly advantageous
• Strong knowledge of micrometers, verniers and gauges
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience working within a CNC/machining or precision engineering environment
