Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector 37,500 (including shift allowance) BS days incl bank hols, pension 4.5 % employer contribution, 38 hours a week on Shifts Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm (6am start and early finish Fridays on all shifts) pension parking, bonus. Friendly and successful aerospace engineering company in Bristol are recruiting for a quality inspector who would report in to the quality manager working in a small team of quality engineers and inspectors. The quality inspector role will involve inspecting components and parts to aerospace quality standards and the following skills Dimensional and visual inspection of precision machined componentsPerforming first off, FAIRS, intermediate and final inspectionSupporting the requirements for documenting and maintaining records for these activitiesInterpreting engineering drawings and specifications,Review and interpret route cards, process instructions, drawings and inspection procedures to determine dimensions and tolerancesInspection, verification and certification of incoming material and sub-contract parts,Using all types of standard measuring equipmentUse of CMM Dealing with quality issues and delivering practical solutions on the shop-floor.Working with reports in accordance with AS9102.The successful quality inspector role would suit candidatesCurrently in a quality role working in engineering with around 3 + years quality experience.
