Location: NottinghamSalary: £13.00-£16.00 per hour, depending on experienceContract: Temp to PermHours: Full-time - Starting on a 10am-6pm shift patternAbout the RoleOur client is looking for an experienced and reliable Quality Inspector to join our busy manufacturing team in Nottingham.The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting fabricated and manufactured components to ensure they meet customer drawings, specifications and required quality standards. This is a hands-on shop-floor role suited to someone with a good eye for detail and experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment. This is a practical, hands-on role based within the production environment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing and checking completed jobs ready for despatch, ensuring all components, paperwork and quality requirements are correct before goods leave site. This is not a purely office-based quality position. Key Responsibilities Carry out inspection of manufactured and fabricated components. Check parts against engineering drawings, tolerances and customer specifications. Use measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, height gauges and other inspection tools. Complete first-off, in-process and final inspections. Identify and report non-conforming products. Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues.
