Quality InspectorLocation - Southend-On-SeaSalary - 28,000 to 33,000A world leader in aerospace engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join its inspection team in Southend-on-Sea. If you have previous experience of inspection within aerospace manufacture and can use measuring equipment then this could be the ideal role for you. Duties:Inspect precision components and assemblies using micrometres, verniers and Faro Arm equipmentCarry out First Article Inspections (FAI) and batch sampling inspectionsComplete testing in line with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)Process non-conformance documentation where requiredVerify products meet drawing, specification and quality requirementsSupport release certification activities and maintain accurate recordsExperience: Previous experience as an Inspector within engineering or manufacturing is essentialAbility to read engineering drawings (metric and imperial)Experience using precision measuring equipmentKnowledge of FAI, ISO 9001 and quality systemsSAP or ERP experience advantageousStrong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsBenefits: Hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, Early finish on Fridays (1.00pm)24 days holiday plus bank holidaysHealth Care SchemeContributory Pension and Life AssuranceCompany sick pay schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeGym membershipSocial club and onsite cafeFree car parking This role is ..... full job details .....
