About the Role
The Quality Inspector position in Alcester involves performing inspection operations on high-precision metal components for aerospace, defence, and power generation sectors. Your key duties include using 3D optical scanners, conducting first and final inspections through manual and visual techniques, and populating the inspection database with relevant dimensions. You will sentence all parts inspected on optical equipment (Keyence, Scan, OGP) and CMM, support the internal non-conformance process by raising rejects and ensuring containment, and liaise with the engineering team for smooth product transitions. Completion of FAIR packs is required. This full-time role offers a salary between £35,000 and £36,500 per annum. Familiarity with precision inspection tools is essential.

They are seeking to recruit a Quality Inspector for their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection operations using 3D Optical scanners
- Performing 1st and final inspections using manual and visual techniques
- Population of the inspection database with all relevant dimensions
- Sentencing of all parts inspected on optical (Keyence, Scan, OGP) and CMM
- Supporting the internal non conformance process – raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured
- Liaise closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth transition of new products
- Completion of FAIR packs
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must be familiar with quality control procedures and standards and have held a quality control role in a manufacturing environment
- Able to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
- CAD knowledge
- Strong communication skills and an attention to detail
- Strong team player
- An advantage would be to hold experience of the aerospace industry
The role is Lates – Monday to Wednesday 4.30pm to 2.30am – Thursday 4.30pm to 1.30pm
