Role: Quality InspectorLocation: WellingboroughSalary £35,000 - £40,000 per annum We''re recruiting a Quality Inspector for a well-established precision engineering business in Wellingborough. The business produces machined components for the automotive, aerospace and medical sectors and quality sits at the heart of everything they do. This is a great opportunity for a detail-driven inspector to join a stable, busy shop floor team where your work genuinely matters.What you''ll be doing -Inspecting precision machined components at goods-in, in-process and final inspection stagesUsing CMM equipment, height gauges, micrometers, verniers and optical comparators to verify dimensions against drawingReading and interpreting engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GDandT)Raising and recording non-conformances, completing inspection reports and maintaining accurate quality recordsSupporting first article inspections (FAI) and working closely with the Quality Engineer on CAPA activityWhat you''ll need -Previous inspection experience in aprecision machining or CNC manufacturingenvironmentConfident using conventional measurement equipment - micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, CMMAbility to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances and GDandT symbolsA methodical, accurate approach and a genuine eye for ..... full job details .....
