Our client are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team Oxfordshire.Shift pattern
8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday 34 hours a week 30-minute lunch breakResponsibilities
Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, your duties will include but are not limited to:Accurate and appropriate measurement of product features to determine conformance/non- conformance toTo carry out first-off inspection for the Machine Shop, and where necessary, assist with in-process inspection.To produce clear, concise and presentable inspectionUtilise metrology equipment such as our CMM, Form tracer, Surface Tester to aid the inspection process.Responsible for the safe storage and upkeep of Inspection department measuring instruments, and to assist with calibration whenComplete non-conformances and concessions when necessary and maintain relevant documentationSkills and Attributes
Proactive approach to workGood communication skillsExcellent attention to detailKnowledge of quality procedures including current ISO StandardsNumeracy and LiteracyAbility to follow detailed instructionsAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesAbility to work under own initiative and as part of a teamComputer literateDriving licenceEssential Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience of working within an inspectionAbility to use standard metrology equipment in the correct application, including but not limited to: Callipers, Bore Micrometres, Height Gauge, Surface Plate, Indicators, Pin and Ball Gauges.Experience with creating presentable inspection reportsCMM OperatingAbility to read complex EngineeringUnderstanding of GDandT.Experience of working with customers andDesirable Skills
Can use SAPCMM Programming experience (preferably MCOSMOS)Form tracer / Surface tester experienceCalibration Management experienceKnowledge of Hydraulic ..... full job details .....
