£32,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Full-Time Permanent 37.5 hours per week
- Profit-related bonus scheme (up to 5% of basic salary)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join a growing engineering manufacturing business. Working as part of the Quality team, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet both internal and customer quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
This position would suit an experienced inspector with a strong engineering background and excellent attention to detail.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Inspection- Conduct first-off and 100% inspections throughout the manufacturing process
- Inspect and assess components at various production stages
- Produce and communicate inspection reports
- Inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with specifications
- Support sample approvals, First Article Inspection (FAI), and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
- Organise and carry out calibration of measuring equipment and tooling
- Ensure calibration schedules are maintained and adhered to
- Support Quality Engineers with dimensional inspections and non-conformance investigations
- Assist in the operation of the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process
- Support engineering change activities and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Maintain accurate quality records and reporting
- Promote high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience using inspection and measurement equipment including verniers, micrometers, and gauges
- Understanding of weld symbols and weld inspection
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Calibration of measuring equipment and tooling (e.g. torque wrenches, pressure gauges)
- Experience using CMM equipment (e.g. Faro)
- Engineering, automotive, or manufacturing inspection experience
- Experience with Goods-In inspection, FAI, production inspection, and non-conformance investigations
- IT skills including Microsoft Office and SAP
- Engineering, Quality, or Science qualification
