Quality Inspector

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join a busy and established manufacturing business based in Middleport, Burslem. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in quality inspection, engineering or manufacturing who has a strong eye for detail and enjoys working in a hands-on quality environment. Working closely with the Quality, Production and Engineering teams, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, components and finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards. What You''ll Be Doing Carrying out incoming, in-process and final inspections. Inspecting components, materials and finished products against engineering drawings and specifications. Using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges. Checking component dimensions, tolerances and functionality. Identifying and containing non-conforming materials and products. Raising and maintaining Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Accurately recording inspection and test results. Ensuring inspection and measuring equipment is maintained and within calibration. Working with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Supporting internal and external quality audits. Working within the company''s ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
