Position : Quality Inspector Location : Basildon, Romford, Brentwood, Essex Sector : Precision engineering, CNC machined components Salary : 30,000 - 38,000 depending on experience Hybrid : No, the role is site based 5 days per week 8 am to 4 pmThe role : Inspection of incoming products, goods and componentsInspection of outgoing products, goods and componentsVisual inspectionDimensional measurements and tolerancesDocumentation checks, and maintenance of all required records, checklists and documentation to comply with company, customer and legal requirementsAssisting with root cause analysis of NCRsSupport all calibration requirementsAbout You Proven experience of working as a Quality Inspector in a precision engineering / manufacturing environment is essentialExperience of working to recognised quality standards is essentialExperience of safety critical quality standards is very much preferred - TS16949, AS9100, ISO13485 or very similarISO 2859-1 understanding beneficialAble to read and understand technical data including drawings, specifications etcAble to use metrology equipment - verniers, micrometers, Faro arm, CMM etcOwn transport Key Words - engineering, essex, quality inspector, About UsWe are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
