The basics:Job Title: Quality InspectorIndustry: Precision EngineeringLocation: near RedditchShift: Late Shift - Monday-Wednesday (4.30pm to 2.30am) and Thursdays (4.30pm to 1.30am)Pay: Starting at 17.96 - 18.64 per hour - DOE with rates up to 20.70 availableContracted hours per week: 39hrsOvertime available at x1.33 Mon-Fri, x1.5 Saturday and x2 SundayHolidays/Benefits: Holidays are calculated in hours but work out to be 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year of continuous service. Death in Service Benefit - 2 x annual salary. Employer 3% / Employee 5% - Pension.Overview:We now require a Quality Inspector to join the team. You will be tasked to visually inspect metal components with some dimensional checks also required, using hand tools such as verniers, callipers, depth/height gauges.Key responsibilities of the Quality Inspector role:Visually and dimensionally inspect metal precision engineered componentsThe ideal candidate / Quality Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:Must have previous experience using handheld measuring tools such as verniers, callipers etc.Experience reading engineering drawingsCommutable from:Evehsam, Alcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Redditch, Droitwich, Worcester and surrounding areas.Interested?If you are interested in the Quality Inspector role, please ..... full job details .....
