Quality Inspector

Job title: Quality InspectorLocation: Ashford (you must drive and have your own transport due to location)Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekSalary: 30,000 - 35,000Job overview:We are seeking a Quality Inspector with strong attention to detail to join our clients team. You will be responsible for maintaining standards and ensuring that products meet company specifications and customer expectations.Benefits4 weeks annual leave (increasing with service) + bank holidaysProfit related bonusLife insurance and income protection schemeEmployee Assist ProgramKey responsibilities:Maintain quality standards across the production area.Identify quality issues, investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.Ensure products meet company standards and customer expectations.Reject products that fail to meet the required standards and record appropriately.Maintain accurate production records, reports and quality documentation.Support continuous improvement initiatives.Work closely with other departments to reduce waste.Conduct routine audits and checks to ensure compliance with quality procedures.Support the compliance team with health and safety policies.Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify potential hazards.Report health and safety concerns and near misses to senior management.Support with Health and Safety compliance to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
