Quality Inspector Whitstable, Kent Salary: DOE + Benefits, Pension, Training and Development, 25 Days Holiday Our client, a well-established precision engineering company, is looking for a Quality C Inspector to join their engineering team. You''ll be responsible for inspecting incoming materials and components, ensuring they meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming materials against drawings and specifications Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections Use measuring equipment including callipers, micrometres, and gauges Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation Identify non-conformances and raise Supplier NCRs Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve quality issues Support quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement activities Carry out first-stage inspections on customer returns About You Previous quality inspection experience within manufacturing or engineering Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Familiar with quality processes and inspection tools (ISO 9001 desirable) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good IT and communication skills Organised, proactive, and a strong team player If you''re looking to join a growing engineering business where quality is a priority, we''d love to hear from you.
