Job Advert: Inspector (Day Shift or Monday-Thursday Night Shift)Location: Leamington SpaContract Type: Contract / Temporary / PermanentPay Rates:Day Shift: 16.68 per hourNight Shift (Mon-Thu): 16.68 per hour + 20% shift upliftWe are looking for a skilled and experienced Inspector to join a precision engineering team in Leamington Spa. Both Day Shift and Monday-Thursday Night Shift positions are available.This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality, small-batch transmission components primarily for the motorsport and aerospace sectors, with a strong emphasis on "right first time" quality.Key Responsibilities and Requirements:Interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerances with confidenceInspect components against drawings and planning route cards to the highest standards and within specified timeframesProficient in the use of manual measuring equipment and performing table layout inspectionsConfident using manual measuring equipment (e.g., verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc.)CMM programming experience (ideally Mitutoyo software) is preferred, but not essentialProactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and supporting the wider teamFlexible to assist in other manufacturing areas when requiredWilling to work additional hours as needed to meet customer deadlinesWhat We Offer:You will join a welcoming and inclusive team where every voice is valued.
