Quality Inspector

Our client is seeking Quality Inspectors to join its Quality department on a contract basis in Banbury . Two opportunities are available: a Manual Inspection and Non-Conformance-focused role, and a CMM Programmer role where PC-DMIS experience is essential. The positions will support goods receiving inspection, in-house component inspection and the management of non-conforming materials within a fast-paced engineering environment.Key Responsibilities:Inspect received goods and manufactured components against engineering drawings, specifications and incoming inspection standardsCarry out manual inspection using hand tools, gauges and digital measurement equipmentProgramme and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS for the CMM-focused positionRecord inspection results and communicate findings with relevant internal stakeholdersIdentify, quarantine, label and manage non-conforming partsPrepare detailed non-conformance reports and support containment and stock-sweep activitiesComplete and upload ISIR documentation using the Jira ticketing systemMaintain inspection equipment, fixtures and gauges, including arranging calibration when requiredJob Requirements:Experience in quality inspection or metrology within an automotive, motorsport or similarly fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of manual inspection, measurement instruments and appropriate gauge selectionAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentationWorking ..... full job details .....
