Quality Inspector

Our client, a leading provider in the automotive industry, is seeking an Inspector for Laser Crack Detection to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based in Leamington Spa and involves working on small batch work primarily for the motorsport and aerospace industries.This role is a night shift during the week.Key Responsibilities:Inspecting high-quality transmission components using laser crack detection technologyInterpreting technical drawings and geometric tolerances to ensure components meet the highest quality standardsUtilising manual measuring equipment and conducting table work to check parts against drawings and planning requirementsProgramming on CMM and utilising Mitutoyo softwareCollaborating with a small team to achieve a right-first-time philosophySupporting other manufacturing areas when requiredMaintaining high levels of attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvementMeeting delivery deadlines and occasionally working additional hours as necessaryJob Requirements:Strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerancesExperience in inspecting components from drawings and planning route cardsProficiency with manual measuring equipmentProgramming experience on CMM and familiarity with Mitutoyo software is advantageousExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to team supportFlexibility in supporting other areas of manufacturing when neededWillingness to work additional hours to meet ..... full job details .....
